We have spirit! Yes we do!

The other day, someone asked me, "Why do we have spirit days?" Why do we have spirit days? Spirit days are for the entire school to work towards one goal (everyone should wear hats, everyone should wear their clothes backwards, etc.), and so they help build a community. I think that building a community is a very important thing for a school to do to so everyone feels happy and welcome. Spirit days are also a chance to show your spirit for Ridgecrest, and a way to make school fun and something you look forward to. Of course, it's fun to learn, but spirit days are another way to have fun! There are a couple of spirit days coming up, so I hope you all participate! Backwards Day is on December 19th, Pajama day is on January 16th, and Twin/Triplet day is on January 30th.

I hope to see you all showing your spirit soon! Goodbye and have a wonderful day!

Finally A Long, Long Break!

It's time for the holidays again! We really need a long break just to recover from all the school work. As you all probably know it's the time to sit down in front of a warm fire, eating fresh baked cookies and drinking a warm cup of hot chocolate. It's also almost time to go outside and build a snowman with all your friends. We are personally excited for all those half days and the two weeks off until next year. In other words, we have the rest of the year off to relax.
